I am applying for this post not only as I believe that I have the required skills and experience, but also because I feel strongly committed to the work of the Enterprise, and would relish the opportunity to work in such a successful and thriving organisation. I have enjoyed my previous team-working role and would welcome the chance to contribute to this worthwhile service.
I have gained extensive administration and organisational skills from my job roles in the Management School, the Careers Service. In all of these roles I was required to collate information, keep accurate records and produce progress reports, and as much of my experience has been in financial organisations. Most of my jobs have been customer service roles, which have developed my interpersonal and written and spoken communication skills.
My success in various part-time jobs alongside my academic work and extra-curricular commitments show that I am able to manage my time effectively, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, and to cope with a demanding and varied workload. I gained experience of project management when undertaking the NSS research for the Management School, where I had to plan my time to undertake the survey work and produce a report and recommendations within a tight timeframe. I am a treasure, as part of the photography and have been involved with various other societies, which I extremely enjoy.
My work with the Careers Service illustrated my commitment to high standards of customer service and teamwork skills. In this role and in my other customer service roles it was essential to respect client confidentiality, to show a flexible approach to work and to keep calm under pressure.
