Toni was a model in Palm Beach, Florida, and traveled across the country 37 years ago, to attend business school in Scottsdale, AZ, and accepted a position as Personal Assistant to Jerry Simmons, Founder and CEO of Simmons Oil Corporation -- she remains his Personal Assistant. Toni married Jerry 28 years ago in a story book wedding in Vail, CO. In 1993, Toni and her husband moved to Johnson County, with their two year-old son, Brenton. Within a year, Toni was pregnant with twin boys, Brady and Bryce. All three sons have returned to Arizona to attend college. In addition to being Jerry’s confidant, interior designer, dinner partner, and travel companion; her life’s passion is motherhood and philanthropy. The family has been actively involved in the International Louis Palau Ministry. Approximately fifteen years-ago she and her husband founded a thriving church here in Johnson County. Among the most exciting of their current entrepreneurial endeavors includes the Hollywood movie business, where they will soon walk the red carpet. Toni’s humanitarian and philanthropic interests has included the American Heart Institute, American Cancer Society, The Kidney Foundation, The Phoenix Crises Center, facilitating bible studies for Safe Home Domestic Violence Center, and nursing homes. Toni chaired The Walter Davis Foundation for Young Boys Home. At the heart of her philanthropic efforts, is her passion to empower women to fulfill their life’s purpose. Toni enjoys laughing, horseback riding, water skiing, snow skiing, ice skating, dancing, and good ol’ fashion girl time. She extends her gratitude to friend, Karen Peters, for inspiring her to become a part of such an impressive group of women as Kansas City Young Matrons.
