Eng, Monica. "School Lunch Blogger 'Mrs.Q' Drops Anonymity." Chicago Tribune 05 10 2011,
Web. 17 Feb. 2014.
The main argument is that school lunches are not good enough for the students. Some of things mentioned are what is put in the food, the health issues, and the taste. The article is to show parents what school are really like.
This source is useful because it is recent and is from someone who actually have eaten the school food their selves. The article also goes with my point of the argument. The main goal of this source is to inform the parents on what their child is eating while at school.
This source helps me because it comes from a teacher’s point of view of how she looks at the lunch. This source also is on the same side I am on. This is helpful in showing that not only the students think the lunch is gross.
Mieszkowski, Katharine. "Open-campus Policy Eats Away at School Nutrition Effort." The Center for Investigation Reporting. Food and water senior reporter, 09 05 2013. Web. 18 Feb. 2014.
The point of this article is to tell you about leaving campus for lunch. The arguments presented in the article are that students are not coming back in time, the choices they make out-side of campus is not healthy, and that all the students’ receive free lunch.
This source is useful because it has stats, has input from students, and from the board. This article is different from the others since it compares to different school views to come up with an argument. The information is current and the article is objective. The goal is to make the school board agree to allow you to leave campus for lunch.
This source is helpful because it gives a stand from somebody other than students and is in a different city then i live in. I can use this article to talk about how other states see lunch and the benefits of leaving. This article didn’t really change argument...
