Dear Mr Brown
I am writing to you regarding the state of Southwick estate. I am disgusted with the area as it is very untidy and dirty, it is starting to give our once clean and tidy estate a very bad name.
Next to my house there are rubbish bags being dumped which are causing a massive stench, these bags have been there for weeks and the bags are all split causing rubbish to be spilling out. There are soiled nappies strewn all over and food which is rotting and attracting rats which have been seen hanging around my garden and various other pests which are bad for the children that play around here they could catch anything, hurt themselves or even worse make them very ill. People are starting to use the area as a dumping ground for old furniture and old carpets anyone is just using the area to fly tip.
I am not happy with this situation as it’s a danger to my children and to everyone else who lives here it is making us very unhappy to be living here. I am not surprised that people do not want to live in Southwick as it is starting to get a bad reputation and when people see all the mess they turn away.
My neighbour has already contacted you regarding this matter 10 days ago and she has had no response. I would like you to arrange for all the rubbish and the old furniture to be removed and the whole area to be cleaned up not only to protect our families but to also have our estate all clean and tidy to make it the once respectful estate that it used to be.
I will look forward to hearing from you and to hopefully see our estate all clean and tidy again.
