The recognition of Palestine as a country, is in every way the solution to stop a non-sense war. Palestine is begging for it; since they believe in peace and because people are in desperate need of it.
In fact, a durable settlement of the conflict is a prerequisite for a just and lasting peace in the Middle East. UN report notes show that the international community should maintain its focus on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, uphold its legal obligations in that regard, and present bold initiatives to break the current deadlock.
In addition to this the UN Committee was also concerned by the ongoing violence and gross violations of humanitarian and human rights law, and reiterated its condemnation of all attacks against civilians, including rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, air strikes on populated areas and settler violence.
In words of The eyes of all the children of Palestine are directed towards the international community who can even contribute “to make history” and to “pave the way for the future” or can continue to allow blood outpouring.
On the other hand, while the Palestinian Authority continued to advance its program to become a formal member of the UN, USA brought down the proposal approved by more 40 countries members of the General Assembly using its right to veto. The inhuman power often used by USA was projected when the almost absolute majority of the more than 40 members of the General Assembly, became worthless at the decision of a country that acts under the power of convenience, USA.
For this reason, all the efforts made by the international community were shattered. True democracy was destroyed and the opportunity for a country to move and have civil, legal and human rights that any community should have, was destroyed.
