The Loud Tour was the fourth overall and third world concert tour by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna. Performing in over twenty countries in America and Europe, the tour was launched in support of Rihanna's fifth studio album Loud (2010). The tour ran all the way from
June 4th, 2011 in Baltimore, USA at the 1st Mariner Arena until   December 22nd, 2011 in London, England at the O2 Arena. The tour was officially announced on February 9, 2011, when North American data were revealed. The tour was described as an all new production, costumes and stage design creating a visual and audio event with the once in a lifetime excitement for her fans round the world. Her opening acts included J. Cole (North America), B.o.B (North America), Cee Lo Green (North America), Calvin Harris (Europe) and Cover Drive (Barbados)

This Rihanna concert poster us very simple, although it follows typical conventions of an R’n’B music poster, due to the element of sophistication through the use of a strict colour scheme of red, white and black which creates a classy image The use of red is only present in the colour of the hair; this is striking, eye catching and is the main focal point I look at when I see this poster. This poster is mainly to advertise the tour in general and not the specific concerts as all it says is the singers name and the name of the tour in big red and b white with a blur of the opposite colour to the sides of each letter. The writing is also very easy to read as it has a black background giving emphasis.

It is believed that the target audience for this particular poster and concert are for Rihanna’s world-wide teenage fans and also for older R’n’B likers.
